Сертификат, дающий право преподавать традиционные групповые ирландские танцы (кейли).

Требования к кандидату

  • Кандидат должен состоять в WIDA.
  • Кандидат должен быть не младше 16 лет для сдачи первой части экзамена.
  • Кандидат должен быть не младше 18 лет для сдачи четвертой части экзамена.
  • Кандидат должен подать заявку на сайте www.irish.dance.

Стоимость

Стоимость одной части – 100 евро (400 евро за 4 части). Плата за экзамен не возвращается, за исключением случая отмены экзамена. В этом случае деньги возвращаются, либо они могут быть “заморожены” до следующего экзамена.

После успешной сдачи одной части у кандидата есть максимум 3 года, чтобы сдать следующую часть. Если в течение этого времени кандидат не сдает следующую часть экзамена, то предыдущая часть “сгорает”.
Учителя, получившие сертификат преподавателя групповых танцев TMRF могут продолжать участвовать в соревнованиях.

TMRF Part 1

A candidate will be required to teach part of two of the following ceili dances (from Ar Rince Foirne, Irish Ceili Dance Book) which will be selected during the exam session by the examiners. One ceili dance will be taught from outside of the team and one further dance as part of the team. The position within the team will be nominated by the examiners. A candidate may be required to dance the following ceili dances (dances selected are at the discretion of the examiners). The pass mark for this section is 70%.

The candidate must be able to dance and teach the following 8 dances:
1. The Walls of Limerick
2. The Fairy Reel
3. Bonfire Dance
4. The Sweets of May
5. An Rince Mor
6. The Siege of Carrick
7. An Rince Fada
8. Harvest Time Jig
The candidate will also have to sit a written paper of 10 questions in relation to the above dances. A minimum pass mark of 70% is required. Successful completion of both sections (practical and written) will enable the candidate to attempt part two of the TMRF qualification.

TMRF Part 2

A candidate will be required to teach part of two of the following ceili dances (from Ar Rince Foirne, Irish Ceili Dance Book) which will be selected during the exam session by the examiners. One ceili dance will be taught from outside of the team and one further dance as part of the team. The position within the team will be nominated by the examiners. A candidate may be required to dance the following ceili dances (dances selected are at the discretion of the examiners). The pass mark for this section is 70%.

The candidate must be able to dance and teach the following 8 dances:
1. The Siege of Ennis
2. The Humours of Bandon
3. The High Cauled Cap
4. The Morris Reel
5. The Cross Reel
6. The Four-Hand Reel
7. The Eight-Hand Reel
8. Haymakers’ Jig
The candidate will also have to sit a written paper of 10 questions in relation to the above dances. A minimum pass mark of 70% is required. Successful completion of both sections (practical and written) will enable the candidate to attempt part three of the TMRF qualification.

TMRF Part 3

A candidate will be required to teach part of TWO of the following ceili dances (from Ar Rince Foirne, Irish Ceili Dance Book & the WIDA notation for the Tara Reel) which will be selected during the exam session by the examiners. One ceili dance will be taught from outside of the team and one further dance as part of the team. The position within the team will be nominated by the examiners. A candidate may be required to dance the following ceili dances (dances selected are at the discretion of the examiners). The pass mark for this section is 70%.

The candidate must be able to dance and teach the following 7 dances:
1. Sixteen-Hand Reel
2. Eight-Hand Jig
3. The Gates of Derry
4. Lannigan’s Ball
5. The Tara Reel
6. Haste to the Wedding
7. The Rakes of Mallow
The candidate will also have to sit a written paper of 10 questions in relation to the above dances. A minimum pass mark of 70% is required. Successful completion of both sections (practical and written) will enable the candidate to attempt part four of the TMRF qualification.

TMRF Part 4

A candidate will be required to teach part of TWO of the following ceili dances (from Ar Rince Foirne, Irish Ceili Dance Book & the WIDA notation for the Tara Reel) which will be selected during the exam session by the examiners. One ceili dance will be taught from outside of the team and one further dance as part of the team. The position within the team will be nominated by the examiners. A candidate may be required to dance the following ceili dances (dances selected are at the discretion of the examiners). The pass mark for this section is 70%.

The candidate must be able to dance and teach the following 7 dances:
1. The Bridge of Athlone
2. The Waves of Tory
3. Antrim Reel
4. Glencar Reel
5. The Three Tunes
6. St. Patrick’s Day
7. Trip to the Cottage
8. Duke Reel
The candidate will also have to sit a written paper of 10 questions in relation to the above dances. A minimum pass mark of 70% is required.
Upon satisfactory and successful completion of the four parts of the Ceili Dance Teacher examination, the candidate will be awarded their TMRF certification with the World Irish Dance Association.
All candidates for the Ceili Teacher Examination are strongly encouraged to attend the figure dance workshop offered by WIDA to consolidate their skills regarding figure dancing choreography.
